Why this page exists
Aysol's design keeps moving. Every time something is decided — a spell's look, a rule, a page on this wiki — a line gets added here, newest first. If you're wondering what changed since you last looked, this is the page.
Wiki updates
8 October 2026
- Added concept paintings to the World Map page — the world overview, the four spires, every region, the coast and the first two hours — and updated the tundra island's write-up to the Still Isle, Aegis's place.
- The wiki is now online at aysol.online.
- Refreshed the World Map page's overlay maps: cleaner region and route maps, and a build-order map made for players.
- Filled in the World Map page: planned zones, landmarks and settlements for every region, three overlay maps, and the route the story takes through its first two hours.
- Added this What's New page, and a World Map page that will fill in with annotated region maps and illustrations as they're approved.
Design changes
8 October 2026
- Three parts of the spell-unlock plan are approved: the first spell wakes about 2 hours in, the Still Isle is a required last step of act one, and that's where the magic parry is learned (Aegis's basic barrier still comes with the first spell). The rest of the flow is still only planned.
- A planned flow for how the four spells and Aegis unlock is now on the Spells page — the introduction, the choice, a quest line per spell, the Still Isle for Aegis, and the spires' trials. Still being decided.
- The Fire Spear's size changed again: about 2 m at both stages, not 1.6 m — much brighter, with much more fire, and Stage 2 clearly bigger and hotter.
- The Fire Spear is one size. Both the quick throw and the charged throw are 1.6 m long — charging makes the burn hit harder, last longer and reach further, not the spear bigger.
- Aegis's colour is final. The magic shield is a dedicated violet, used nowhere else in the game — on the shield itself, its on-screen icon, and its place on the talent disc.
- The hero keeps his current glove.
- A clearer layout for the talent planner (bigger icons, less crowding) is in progress, for both the in-game screen and the version on this wiki.
- The sword's sheath was adjusted to sit closer to upright at the hip, with its tip just visible below the cloak.
- A wave of smaller decisions were folded in: the sword rides upright in its sheath, the hood can be raised or lowered, Earth's spell keeps its current working name, and the first playable area plays out in plain daylight with just the sword, shield and bow.
- A new build of the interactive talent planner is underway, with controller support and a phone-friendly layout, for the version on this wiki.
- The Water Hammer's timing is set: 5 seconds on a quick swing, 10 seconds charged. Its handle can also block and parry hits.
- The Fire Spear's held pose is approved: carried like a javelin, gripped at the middle of the shaft.
- The Water Hammer's look is approved, and its talents are written: a longer hammer, more time added per landed hit, a slowing effect, and its "Crashing Wave" finishing upgrade.
- The Fire Spear's held pose was still being worked out — an earlier grip didn't read well and was turned down. A first look at the Water Hammer was proposed.

- The talent tree's shape is set. It's a disc that grows outward from the hero, in seven sections — one per weapon and element — each opening as you gain that weapon or element.
